Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-04-24

Overview

  • Bookora (bookora.work) provides scheduling and booking services. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your choices.
  • When you connect Google Calendar, we request access to your calendar data to compute availability, prevent conflicts, and (when authorized) create or delete booking events.

Information we collect

  • Account information: email, username, and profile details you provide.
  • Booking data: booking types, time zone, availability rules, and information submitted by invitees (such as name/email/notes, depending on your form settings).
  • Calendar connection data: OAuth access/refresh tokens, granted scopes, expiration time, and provider account identifiers.
  • Technical data: minimal logs necessary for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.

How we use information

  • Provide and maintain the service: sign-in, booking type management, slot generation, and booking management.
  • Prevent double-booking: read calendar lists and free/busy data after you connect a calendar.
  • Write to calendars when you authorize it: create events for confirmed bookings and update/delete events on reschedule or cancellation (depending on features and your settings).
  • Security and compliance: detect abuse and meet legal requirements.

Google Calendar data usage

  • We access Google Calendar data only as needed to provide scheduling features.
  • Typical use includes listing calendars, retrieving free/busy blocks, and creating or updating events related to bookings.
  • We do not sell your Google Calendar data or use it for advertising profiling.

Sharing and third parties

  • We may use infrastructure and service providers (hosting, email delivery, abuse prevention) to operate Bookora. They process data only as required to provide their services.
  • When you connect a third-party account (Google/Microsoft), processing is also governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Security and retention

  • We use reasonable safeguards to protect data, including encrypting sensitive tokens and minimizing requested permissions.
  • We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the service and handle legitimate operational needs. You can disconnect calendars or request deletion.

Your choices

  • You can disconnect calendar integrations from the dashboard.
  • You can request export or deletion of your account data.
